AD1000 laminates are the only substrate in their class, being a woven glass reinforced PTFE/ceramic filled laminate with a dielectric constant (Dk) of 10.2 or greater. This material is especially beneficial for power amplifiers, filters, couplers and other components using low impedance lines. AD1000 Laminates are considered a soft substrate and relatively resistant to vibrational stress, allowing for circuit miniaturization.

Features

  • Well controlled, high Dk of 10.2 or greater
  • Low, stable loss tangent of .0023 at 10 GHz
  • Best in class thermal conductivity of .81 W/mK
  • Low thermal coefficient of Dk of -380 ppm/°C
  • Larger panel sizes available

Benefits

  • Allows for smaller circuits with repeatable performance
  • Mechanically robust circuits with reliable dimensional stability
  • Excellent circuit performance over a wide range of microwave frequencies
  • Excellent circuit performance over a wide temperature range
