Globally, Rogers provides charitable donations to a wide variety of worthy causes in our local communities. Recently, Rogers engaged with the Suzhou Dongran School, Fire Fighting Eschenbach, Kindergarten Eshchenbach, Middle Schools Eschenbach, Remedial Pedagogic Center Irehenrieth and Music for Life Campaign.
Prior to the pandemic, Rogers employees donate their time and funds to many local charities, making a difference in the communities where we live and work. We are pleased to support this spirit of giving through our matching gift program.
Rogers Arizona locations partnered with area agencies to participate in the 14th consecutive year of the “Be a Santa to a Senior” program and reached out to local solitary elders during the holiday season to assemble gift wish lists. Two fully loaded vehicles delivered our gifts to partnered Home Instead offices to spread the holiday spirit to our seniors.
Rogers employees at our Carol Stream facility partnered with Saint Mary of Gostyn Church and Saint Vincent DePaul to provide holiday happiness for two large families totaling fifteen people. In addition to the generous contribution of gifts, Rogers employees donated over $350 in grocery store gift cards to the families.
Belgium: Rogers Belgium employees participated in the “Music for Life” campaign, a nationwide charity that takes place during the week before Christmas. Employees sold items, such as cakes, soups, hotdogs, flowers and Christmas cards, to garner a sizable donation which was then matched by Rogers. The total contribution of 2500€ was donated to Tendries, a safe haven for children wih motor skill restrictions and Tanderious, an organization that supports families of children with autistic spectrum disorder.
As a fun way to collect money, manufacturing leaders in Rogers Germany kept a cash box to chip in and save money for an annual donation. The team raised and donated 250€ to the Children’s Cancer Aid of Oberpfalz, a non-profit organization that supports families of children fighting cancer.
Rogers employees in Suzhou, China proudly supported the Dongran Migrant School for students from rural areas. In conjunction with a consulting company, the Rogers team brought a helpful mindfulness workshop to the schoolteachers and further demonstrated community engagement by gifting teachers winter presents.
